How many buckets do you use? This art installation represents our water consumption in the number of buckets used by an average household over one week. Participants were encouraged to explore and discover the artwork.

Buckets will be re-used once installation is de-commissioned.

Special thanks to Partridge Engineers, Eluminate for their video, and all the Feather Edge crew who suffered the task of sewing buckets together for weeks.

Russ the Bus: A converted Sydney Transit bus became a mobile library wonderland. Made from 24mm Birch plywood paneling CNC routed into undulating fluid shapes and mapped to the bus's interior.

Acquisition and permanent display at Elisabeth Farm, Parramatta, Sydney Living Museum.

Feather Edge worked closely with Tony Albert and the Biennale team to design and construct the shade structure and planter stands for the installation. Visitors are invited to write healing intensions on seed embedded paper that are then planed in the structure. Our brief was to produce a structure that stood at odds to the colonial landscape of Cockatoo Island.

This 5.4m Equilateral pyramid was constructed with the design brief  that would satisfy the most devout members of the scientific community. The installation housed science demonstrations, scientific information on the internal walls and science podcasts creating a diverse soundtrack amongst the festival environment crowed with new age spirituality.

Additional information: Neurons are the vehicles that drive human connections. As the neurons in our brains continuously communicate with one another, they shape the individual in response to their environment, experiences and beliefs. Immuno-Sight is a three dimensional representation of immunocytochemical images generated from human neurons grown in the laboratory for medical research.
